Tour Description: Driving down the back-roads to view the ‘colors’ of fall. Weather permitting, a Pontoon ride or two on Rest lake. Rest and Relaxation! Other events may include talks or guided tours by staff from North Lakeland Discovery Center. Note that the mini-coach holds 14 passengers, so if we do have a guided tour someone may have to stay behind.....usually not a problem with people of varied interests. Great place to relax and unwind . . .or to catch up on bird-watching, photography, etc.

Depart Monday October
6 and return Friday October 10, 2008.

Motorcycle Rally, we take a break from the Black
Hills and Badlands area as it is much too crowded
to have an enjoyable visit. This is an excellent
time to schedule a tour in the Badlands or the
East side of South Dakota or request a Theme
tour. For example, what a great time to see
the worlds only Corn Palace, Butterfly House, the
world renowned National Music Museum, the
International Vinegar Museum, a National Historic
Fort, or spend time on the Pine Ridge Indian
Reservation and Wounded Knee. |
